About me
Terry is a senior counsel with The Bonadio Group’s Advisory & Consulting service line. Terry graduated from Moorhead State University (now known as Minnesota State University Moorhead) and has over 35 years of experience in Private and Public Accounting positions. He has over 20 years with Bonadio and seven years as a chief financial officer of a large tax-exempt organization (Arc of Monroe County).
Terry specializes in providing accounting and auditing services for a variety of clients with a primary focus on tax-exempt and healthcare organizations. Over his career, he has provided services to more than 100 tax-exempt, government, and school district organizations and has experience in a wide variety of consulting engagements including Acting CFO, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation projects, independent review organization services for entities that have a corporate integrity agreement with federal or state oversight agencies, and internal audit. Terry manages the firm’s Consolidating Fiscal Report (CFR) engagements and has significant experience with New York State cost reporting and reimbursement methodologies related to services provided by tax-exempt organizations.
In addition to his professional career, Terry is the treasurer of the Scott Spino Foundation, which specializes in mentoring youths in the City of Rochester and Monroe County through its literacy and scholarships programs.
