Jajaida is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in creating safe, supportive, and enriching environments for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Grounded in a strong commitment to the Person-Centered approach, she has held a range of roles throughout her career that have equipped her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this community.
Her passion for advocacy, skill development, and expanding access to meaningful employment has been a consistent driving force in her work. Jajaida is dedicated to empowering individuals with Intellectual Disabilities to increase their independence and reach their fullest potential.
Jajaida’s academic journey at Hunter College and the CUNY Graduate Center School of Professional Studies has enriched her expertise in Board Development, Media and Non-Profit Organizations, NYC Government, Budgeting, and the cultural dimensions of Disability. She is committed to lifelong learning and continues to seek new ways to support and uplift the community she serves with such dedication.
