About me
Alexis Harrington, MSW has over 12 years of experience in the field of social work, healthcare policy, and Medicaid reform and transformation. As the Chief of Program Implementation at AIM Services, Alexis is focused on rolling out the Supported Decision-Making Program statewide over the next 5 years. Most recently, she supported service access functions at NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities, as well as several program areas including self-direction, employment and meaningful community activities and day services, housing, family and support services, and crisis services. She has supported policy development and implementation by collaborating with many state agencies over the years such as Office of Children and Family Services, NYS Education Department, NYS Office of Mental Health, NYS Department of Health, and Office of Addiction Services and Supports. Alexis is passionate about empowering and elevating voices that have been historically silenced, sees diversity as a superpower, and values true inclusion and acceptance of all people.
