This two-part session will feature Dr. Jeanette Stingone discussing the research behind her recent JAMA article highlighting the positive impact of Early Intervention on NYC children. Dr. Stingone will provide a brief overview of the study’s key findings and their implications for children, families, and the broader EI system. Following the presentation, Director of the New York State Early Intervention Program, Raymond Pierce, will share important EI program updates, including information on rates, the EI Hub, Qualified Professionals, and EICC Taskforces. The session will conclude with an interactive discussion with Director Pierce, and a brainstorming opportunity with audience members focused on the future of the EI program and opportunities for continued growth and innovation. .
